goTether Platform, LLC provides SMS and text messaging services to enhance your platform experience. By participating in our SMS program, you may receive:

• Account verification codes for secure login
• Login and security notifications
• Platform updates about battles, tournaments, and events
• Agency communications regarding schedules and activities
• Promotional messages (with separate consent)

By providing your phone number to goTether, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages at the number provided. This includes messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system.

Important: Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of our services. You can use goTether without providing a phone number, though some features may be limited.

Marketing messages require explicit opt-in through your platform settings. You can manage your marketing preferences at any time in Account Settings > Notifications.

The number of messages you receive depends on your account activity, platform usage, and marketing preferences:

• Transactional messages: Sent as needed based on your account activity (login verification, security alerts)
• Platform notifications: Sent when relevant events occur (tournament updates, battle reminders)
• Marketing messages: Frequency varies based on promotions and your opt-in preferences

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time using any of these methods:

• Reply STOP to any message you receive from us
• Adjust your notification settings in Account Settings > Notifications
• Email support@gotether.app with your phone number and opt-out request

After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message. Note that opting out of marketing messages will not affect transactional messages related to your account security.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. goTether is not responsible for any charges from your carrier for receiving text messages.

Our SMS service is supported by major carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We take your privacy seriously. Your phone number will be:

• Never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes
• Used only for the purposes described in this policy
• Protected with industry-standard security measures

Our SMS delivery is handled by Twilio, a trusted communications provider. Agencies connected to you on the platform may receive your phone number as part of the creator management relationship.
