This Refund Policy explains our practices regarding refunds, cancellations, and billing for goTether subscription services. By subscribing to our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
2Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings:
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will retain access to paid features until the billing period ends
- No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period
- Your data will be retained according to our Privacy Policy
3Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
Eligible for Refund
- Technical issues preventing access to paid features for an extended period
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Charges made without authorization
- Service not delivered as described (subject to investigation)
Not Eligible for Refund
- Change of mind after purchase
- Failure to cancel before renewal date
- Violation of Terms of Service leading to account termination
- Partial month usage after cancellation
- Features working as designed but not meeting expectations
4Requesting a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact support@gotether.app within 14 days of the charge
- Include your account email and the charge in question
- Provide a brief explanation of your refund request
- Include any relevant screenshots or documentation
We will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
5Free Trials
If you sign up for a free trial:
- You will not be charged during the trial period
- You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges
- Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial
- We will send a reminder email before the trial ends
6Billing Issues
If you notice a billing discrepancy:
- Check your subscription status in Account Settings
- Review your payment history for all charges
- Contact support immediately for unauthorized charges
- We will investigate and correct any errors
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. goTether does not store your full credit card information.
7Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices:
- You will receive at least 30 days notice before any price increase
- Price changes will not affect your current billing period
- You may cancel before the new price takes effect
- Continued use after the price change indicates acceptance
